The value of a standard bullion coin, whether gold or silver, will increase in value if it is graded. If you are a new coin collector it is important to understand how a coin is graded. This is a basic overview of the anatomy of an MS70 2010 Gold American Eagle coin which is 1 ounce of gold. If you found this useful please rate my video and leave a comment. Greatly appreciated. I usually don’t do numismatics (I am more into bullion itself), but I think it is important what you’re saying here, so I am going to subcribe. My point of view is you buy as much bullion as you can in terms of real value. Why? You can actually buy more when you don’t pay for those premiums.

Lucretiuscaro, I also invest in Bullion. But I will say that when coins go up in value it will be hard to find these MS70′s and the premium moves with the base value of the bullion. Basically, collect them if you think they will be of value. If you think gold or silver bullion will increase in value so will numismatic coins.
